Job Description

Position Title: AMZL Delivery Associate
Reports To: Delwyn Cosby, Owner

Position Summary:
DJC Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner seeking enthusiastic team players to deliver Amazon packages throughout the Hampton Roads area. Delivery Associates strive to get every order to the customer’s door on time and with care.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Ability to work 4 days a week for at least 8–10 hours per day (as workload permits).
Ability to deliver 25 stops per hour safely and efficiently.
Team-oriented—must assist others with deliveries as needed.
Ability to safely operate a Cargo/Step Van/EDV with a weight rating of up to 10,000 pounds.
Attention to detail and focus in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service skills, even under stress.
Ability to drive and deliver in all weather and route types.
Ability to walk, lift, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and stretch during long shifts.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and sort packages up to 50 pounds frequently.

General Responsibilities:

Adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
Safely drive and perform safety checks on delivery vehicles.
Follow all driving laws and company policies.
Engage positively and professionally with customers.
Maintain physical stamina for a demanding delivery role.
Address customer inquiries or concerns with a problem-solving approach.
Organize and prepare your delivery route to meet expectations.

Work Environment:

Operate a delivery van (up to 10,000 lbs) across diverse neighborhoods in the Hampton Roads area.
Climb in and out of the vehicle and navigate stairs as needed.
Adapt to route changes due to traffic, weather, or construction.
Full-time position: up to 40 hours per week (8–10 hours/day), with possible overtime or schedule changes based on peak periods.
